Victorian c. 1890 Warrior Intaglio Neoclassical Gold Signet Ring

This striking antique German signet ring dates from the late 19th Century - circa 1890. It features a central oval intaglio (design incised or engraved into a material) of a roman centurion warrior in the neo classical style, in a black hard stone, possibly black agate. This central setting is then surrounded by a beautiful 14k rosy yellow gold that tapers into a thick band. Wonderful unisex styling it is a perfect piece for a man or woman.

Dimensions: Central setting measures 13 mm tall by 8 mm wide. Band measures 3.4 mm at the narrowest.

Condition: In very good antique condition. No nicks or scratches to stone setting. Some wear to the band commensurate with age. Evidence of resizing on inside of band.
