Victorian C. 1890 Gold Filled Hand Painted Crystal Hound Dog Pendant
This delightful antique dog pendant features a hand painted hound dog. One of the most unique and pleasing forms of Victorian jewelry it is made by carving a domed crystal from behind creating a 3D shape inside. Surrounded by a rose gold filled ( a single layer of gold covers silver or base metal) with a green glass backing. A wonderfully individual portrait of a most likely beloved dog with his own blue color! Originally possibly a watch fob it makes a beautiful pendant today!
