This stunning antique pendant necklace dates from the Victorian period, circa 1870. Made in a naturalistic design that was typical of this period, it mimics a grape vine - beautiful 18k yellow gold is carefully crafted into sinuous vine and leaf leading to a three stone purple, almandine garnet cluster representing a bunch of grapes- and also looking juicy enough to eat! A true masterpiece of mid 19th century design, even the texture on the leaf is masterfully textured to resemble nature.  It makes a stunning statement necklace today. Set on a modern 16 inch 10k gold chain.

Dimensions: Pendant (including bale) measures 1.4 inches high by .7 inches wide.

Weight (pendant): 3.2 grams

Condition: In very good antique condition. No nicks or scratches to the stones. Some minor discoloration to the reverse commensurate with age. Bale tests at 10k gold. Chain is modern replacement. Additional photos and videos are available upon request.
