This lovely, small, early 19th century brooch dates from the end of the Georgian or beginning of the Victorian era, circa 1830. Originally intended as a mourning or sentimental brooch it has a (now empty) central compartment under crystal that would have originally held hair, fabric or another token of love and remembrance. This is surrounded by a row of small split seed pearls and a row of beautiful blue-green turquoise cabochons set in yellow gold.

Dimensions: Brooch measures .8 inches long by .5 inches wide.

Condition: In very good antique condition. One turquoise cabochon chipped. Back and setting tests as low karat gold. Additional photos and videos available upon request.
