Georgian C. 1787 Gold and Hair Set Mourning Pendant
This rare 18th century pendant is a survivor from another age. Made over 230 year ago, it commemorate the life of Elizabeth Stevenson. Beautifully braided hair is enclosed in a locket compartment surrounded by 18k yellow chased gold with a pendant loop. The reverse is engraved " Eliz. Stevenson Died 30. Mar 1787 Aged 63."
