Edwardian C. 1910 Turquoise Pave Necklace
This exceptional antique necklace is a showpiece of early 20th Century design. Made in the Edwardian period, circa 1910, it features one of the most beautiful and sought after features of vintage jewelry- pave set turquoise. Numerous beautiful blue turquoise cabochons are carefully set side by side to form a single cohesive design. A typical design of this period, this garland swag necklace features nine drops, elegantly graduated in size and most extraordinarily the turquoise cabochons continue up the chain and there is another pave set circular piece that covers the claps. Typical of the attention to detail and design you can only find with antique craftsmanship!
Made in silver gilt or vermeil, solid silver is coated in a thin sheet of gold.
A beautiful "something blue" for a vintage bride, it can also be styled in a number of ways and gives effortless elegance typical of an Edwardian lady.
Dimensions: Necklace measures 17 inches in length.
